The Cultural Activities Club (CAC) is one of the four largest student organizations and a major event-organizing group in Nanyang Technological University (NTU).

Set up in 1990 to cater to a burgeoning arts and cultural scene in both NTU and Singapore, the CAC has since grown by leaps and bounds to become a full-fledged student organization, comprising of 21 Member Clubs, 7 Support Committees and 6 Event Committees.

DrumZout 2008 – the first ever Nationwide Percussion Competition organized especially for students and youths of various age groups promises to be the next big nationwide event worth waiting for.

DRUMZOUT 2008
Named DrumZout, the competition seeks to bring drums and the percussion arts out to the public audience in a most unexpected and highly creative manner. Instead of using names that only emphasize on drums and its culture, this name – DrumZout also signifies youth and vibrancy in all the participants and the organizing committee alike. It also aims to infect the public audience with an enthusiasm and passion for this highly sensational and upbeat form of performing arts.

The theme for DrumZout is - ‘Ignite the Rhythm Within’. Building upon the objectives and vision of the project, the committee believes that with the pool of young and budding talents out there, DrumZout will definitely inspire more audiences through quality performances and ‘Ignite the Rhythm Within’ each and every upbeat soul out there!
